Roundtable on Case Surgery:
The department organized a case surgery on the decision of the court in Shittu V PAN LTD, the title of the Round Table was “The Jurisdiction of the Supreme Court on appeals as right vis-a-vis Shittu v. PAN Judicial Activism taken too far?” with Prof. J.O Olatoke, SAN as the Discussant and Mr. K.K Eleja as the Keynote Address Speaker.
Africa in an Emerging Era- A.U Agenda 2063 and Post COVID-19 Threats:
This conference was held in partnership with Judicial Research Cluster (JRC) based at the Faculty of Law, University of Ilorin, and the International Research Collaboration 27 (IRC-27) of the Law and Society Association and ICON-S Nigeria Chapter.
The Imperatives of Securing Equality and Human Dignity for Persons with Disabilities in Nigeria:
The above meetings drew resources like Ms. Osai Ojigho, Country Director Amnesty International, Nigeria, Mr. Theophilus Odaudu, Disability Rights funds, Prof Jarpa Dawuni, Howard University, Prof. Serges Kamnga among several other experts.
